Sunday School
At Hillview, we have a variety of Sunday School classes. Classes begin at 9:15 AM.
For adults, we have a women’s class led by Ms. Becky Morgan, and two classes for anyone, led by Mr. Ted Ingram and Mr. Craig Cato. They will always teach from the Bible and share their knowledge of the Gospel.
We also have a class for youth led by Ms. Gloria Cato. Ms. Gloria always has a good curriculum to lead the class and attendees have fun but at the same time are learning about Jesus.
There is also a class for children led by Mr. Rick Brown. The class is very interactive and designed to involve the children in studying the Bible and completing activities that help them learn about Jesus.
We also have wonderful volunteers that love and care for preschoolers and babies. There is a fully equipped nursery and preschool area that is available if parents choose to take advantage of it.
Sunday Morning Worship
Sunday Morning Service starts at 10:30 AM.
On Sunday morning, you will always hear a sermon that is Bible based and presents the Gospel. The service starts with a Call To Worship from the Bible and then goes into worshipful singing that ties into the sermon for the day. There are also prayers of praise and thanksgiving before the sermon begins. The sermon always begins with a Pastoral prayer. During the service, we provide age-appropriate Bible study for preschoolers. A nursery is also offered for parents to allow our volunteers to love and care for their babies. Children in kindergarten and up are welcomed, encouraged, and expected to participate in worship in the sanctuary with their family and church family.
Sunday Night
On Sunday night, we meet at 6:00 PM for an hour of corporate prayer. We fervently pray for all needs that are brought up by those in attendance. This includes health, work, life, community, world, and especially spiritual needs issues. If we complete our prayer time early, we will revisit the sermon on Sunday morning and discuss it further. No child care is provided for this time.
Wednesday Night
On Wednesday night, we start at 6:30 PM with hearing praises from the attendees. We always start the night with praises to the Lord from those in attendance. We then spend some time praying for church members and loved ones that have not accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior or other specific spiritual needs. After the prayer time our Pastor, Mr. Rich Powell, leads us in a deep dive into more Bible study. This time is very interactive and we take it very seriously. We have seen the Lord work in marvelous and miraculous ways!
During this service, our volunteers are available to love and care of preschoolers or babies.
